Why Can't I Be Satisfied
(Clements)

My family they were good to me, but I just didn't care
You should have seen the way, I made my mother cry
But I burned my bridges soon, by spitting out my silver spoon
To wander off beneath that open sky

Tell me why, why can't I be satisfied

From town to town I gambled, with a fortune at my back
And the more I played, the more she used to smile
But that easy life it came, from my money and my new found fame
It could only keep me happy for a while

There's silver on my table now, and gold upon my teeth
And a crowd of friends with nowhere else to stay
I have found out my reward, that my destiny is to be bored
And discontented till my dying day
